XPEL by certified technicians in a controlled studio in Cleveland—built for lake-effect salt spray and I-90 rock chips.
Cleveland driving is a mix of lakefront highways, tight downtown parking, and winter grit that can sandblast a front end fast. Our PPF work is in-shop only, installed in a controlled studio environment so panels can be fully prepped and film edges aligned cleanly. Tell us how you drive around Ohio City, Tremont, University Circle, or the Shoreway corridor and we’ll recommend coverage that fits your use.
Rock Chip & Road Debris Protection
Self-Healing Technology
Between freeze-thaw potholes, salt/brine spray, and constant lane-level debris on routes like I-90, I-71, and I-480, Cleveland paint takes impact in the same predictable places: bumper, hood edge, mirror caps, and rocker panels. PPF doesn’t make a vehicle invincible, but it helps protect against rock chips, abrasion, staining, and road rash before they reach the clear coat.

Same protection mindset—two very different aesthetics. Pick the finish that matches your paint, trim, and how you want the vehicle to photograph.
Choose Gloss if you want the film to disappear and keep OEM shine.
Choose Stealth if you want a satin, custom look while still keeping protection.
Proper wash + decon so film bonds correctly.
Paint is inspected under lighting so the film lays clean and looks its best.
Tight alignment and wrapped edges where possible.
Detailed inspection before delivery—no rushed handoffs.

First wash: avoid washing for 7 days after install so edges and adhesive can fully settle.
Early care (first 1–2 weeks): avoid aggressive pressure-washing directly at film edges; don’t pick at edges.
Hand wash with pH-neutral soap and a clean mitt; dry with a microfiber towel. What’s normal: light moisture haze or tiny water spots can appear during the first days and usually resolves as the film cures.
Rinse salt and slush regularly—especially around lower rockers and behind wheels. When to contact us: if you notice persistent lifting, trapped debris at an edge, or anything that looks worse over time instead of better.
Most chip damage starts on the front bumper, the first 12–18 inches of hood, mirror caps, and rocker panels—especially with highway commutes and winter grit.
Quality film is designed to resist staining, but salt and road film can be abrasive. Regular rinsing and gentle hand washes help keep the film clear and edges clean.
PPF is transparent, so underlying defects can still show. We’ll inspect paint first and recommend polishing, touch-up, or correction where it makes sense before film goes on.
The manufacturer warranty is for defects in the film itself (not rock impacts). It doesn’t cover accidental damage, installation-related issues, or problems caused by improper care.
The self-healing topcoat helps reduce light swirls and marring on the film surface when warmed by sun/engine heat. Deeper cuts that go through the film won’t fully heal.
Plan to avoid washing for 7 days. After that, hand washing is best; avoid directing high-pressure water at edges, especially early on.
Stealth can give gloss paint a satin look (or protect factory matte). It’s a style choice—great for full panels or accents—so we’ll confirm the look you want during your quote.
Edge prep matters: thorough cleaning/decontamination, controlled install conditions, careful squeegee work, and post-heating where appropriate. After install, avoid picking edges and keep winter buildup rinsed off.
