Rivian Delivery – How Is a Rivian Delivered?
On a cold Saturday morning in the middle of January, Nathan shipped out to the local Rivian Service Center to meet with John; a client of ours who just bought a brand new Rivian R1T.
Rivian’s R1T electric pickup truck was the most anticipated vehicle of 2020, and for good reason. Not only does it boast impressive performance specs, but it also can be delivered right to your doorstep. Rivian’s delivery program makes it easy to receive your R1T, no matter where you are in the country.
The process starts with your newly purchased R1T getting shipped to a local service center, where it will be inspected and prepped for delivery. You will be able to track the progress of your R1T’s delivery and will receive notifications once it has arrived at the service center.
In John’s case, he reserved his R1T back in 2021 and was initially going to wait for Rivian’s Max Pack. However, after continued delays in the Max Pack, John eventually decided to bite the bullet and proceed with a pre-built, ready to deliver truck.
Once your R1T has arrived at the service center, a Rivian representative will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment. During the appointment, the representative will walk you through the features of your new vehicle and answer any questions you may have. The representative will also provide you with a detailed tutorial on how to use the vehicle’s various features and controls.
At the service center, John was given a detailed walkthrough of his Rivian R1T. He was able to inspect the vehicle in person, as well as test drive it to ensure that the vehicle is running optimally.
Once the delivery appointment is complete, you will be ready to hit the road with your new R1T. The Rivian delivery team will provide you with all the necessary paperwork, including your registration and insurance documents. You will also receive a copy of the vehicle’s warranty, which you can use to protect yourself in the event of any mechanical issues.

The guys did an amazing job. Tyler was here promptly at 8 and started right away. Detailed our 2017 Volvo XC90 and 2010 Audi A4. Both look brand new inside and out. Highly recommended Nathan’s!!! Have used them before and will definitely use again. You won’t be disappointed!! Thanks!!

My car looks amazing like I just bought it off the lot at the dealership. They take their time and are very thorough with all the cracks and little spots that you need the tools they have to get to. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to wait in some waiting room while you car is being done. Their service you can stay in the comfort of your home and still get your car detailed to perfection.
