Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: August 6, 2026
Last Updated: August 6, 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of nathansdetailing.com and your purchase, scheduling, or use of services provided by Nathan’s Detailing (“Nathan’s Detailing,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
These Terms apply to website visitors, customers, vehicle owners, and anyone who requests or authorizes a service.
By accessing our website, submitting a form, requesting a quote, scheduling an appointment, approving an estimate, paying a deposit, or allowing us to begin work, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the website or schedule a service.
1. Nathan’s Detailing Services
Nathan’s Detailing provides automotive appearance, cleaning, restoration, and protection services, which may include:
- Mobile car detailing
- Interior detailing
- Exterior detailing
- Paint correction
- Ceramic coating
- Paint protection film
- Window tint
- Dealership and fleet services
- Other vehicle-care services shown on our website or included in a written estimate
Service availability, pricing, duration, package contents, and service areas may change.
The specific services included in your appointment will be determined by the package, estimate, work order, invoice, or written communication approved for that appointment.
3. Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to keep our website accurate. However, service descriptions, photographs, prices, estimated service times, availability, promotional offers, and other website information may occasionally be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.
Website content is provided for general information and does not replace a vehicle-specific inspection, written estimate, work order, or service agreement.
A website price or starting price is not a guaranteed final price unless we expressly confirm it in writing for your vehicle and requested service.
4. Quotes, Inspections and Estimates
Quotes provided through the website, telephone, email, text message, or photographs are preliminary unless expressly identified as final.
The final price may depend on factors such as:
- Vehicle size and configuration
- Existing condition
- Amount of dirt, staining, contamination, pet hair, sand, salt, mold, odor, or debris
- Paint condition
- Previous repairs or refinishing
- Accessibility of the vehicle
- Selected upgrades or add-ons
- Labor and material requirements
- Removal of existing film, tint, coating, adhesives, or contaminants
- Conditions discovered after work begins
Where applicable, customers may request an oral or written estimate before work begins.
We will request authorization before performing additional work when authorization is required by applicable law or when the additional work materially changes the approved scope or price.
Authorization may be provided in writing, electronically, verbally, by text message, or through another legally permitted method.
Nothing in these Terms waives any estimate, authorization, cancellation, or other consumer right that cannot legally be waived.
5. Appointments and Scheduling
An appointment is not confirmed until Nathan’s Detailing accepts the booking.
Submitting a form or selecting a preferred date does not guarantee availability.
Customers must provide accurate contact, vehicle, service-location, and appointment information. We may contact you to confirm details, inspect the vehicle, recommend a different service, or adjust the appointment duration.
Arrival times may be affected by traffic, weather, prior appointments, equipment problems, staffing, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant scheduling changes.
6. Deposits and Payment
Nathan’s Detailing may require a deposit, booking fee, or advance payment for certain services.
Any required amount and applicable conditions will be disclosed during booking or in the estimate.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Payment is due when the service is completed;
- Deposits may be applied to the final balance;
- You are responsible for approved services, materials, taxes, and additional work;
- Promotional discounts cannot be combined unless expressly stated; and
- Pricing errors may be corrected before service begins.
Accepted payment methods may vary.
You authorize Nathan’s Detailing and its payment providers to process approved charges using the payment method you provide.
You are responsible for any lawful chargeback, returned-payment, collection, or administrative cost resulting from an invalid or improperly disputed payment.
7. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Appointments require reserved labor, travel time, equipment, and materials.
Customers should provide as much notice as reasonably possible when cancelling or rescheduling.
A cancellation fee, deposit forfeiture, or rescheduling fee will apply only when it was disclosed during booking, included in an accepted estimate, or otherwise agreed before the appointment.
Nathan’s Detailing may cancel or reschedule an appointment because of:
- Unsafe weather
- Unsafe working conditions
- Equipment failure
- Staff illness or emergency
- Inaccurate booking information
- Inaccessible service locations
- Vehicle conditions materially different from those disclosed
- Customer absence
- Nonpayment
- Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or unsafe conduct
When Nathan’s Detailing cancels an appointment and cannot reasonably reschedule it, any refundable payment specifically collected for the unperformed service will be handled according to the applicable booking terms and law.
8. Mobile-Service Requirements
For mobile services, the customer must provide a lawful, safe, and reasonably accessible place for the work.
The service area must:
- Have adequate space around the vehicle;
- Be free from dangerous traffic and avoidable hazards;
- Permit lawful detailing activity;
- Have any required property-owner or workplace authorization;
- Allow access to the vehicle throughout the appointment; and
- Be reasonably suitable for our equipment and team.
Nathan’s Detailing may decline to work on a public street, restricted parking area, unsafe driveway, active construction area, or other unsuitable location.
Although our mobile units may carry water, power, and equipment, certain services or unexpected conditions may require access to customer-provided utilities. Any such requirement should be discussed before work begins.
The customer is responsible for parking permissions, property permissions, access instructions, parking fees, and any fines caused by an unauthorized service location selected by the customer.
9. Customer Preparation
Before the appointment, customers should:
- Remove valuable, fragile, private, or irreplaceable belongings;
- Remove firearms, medications, cash, jewelry, documents, electronics, and personal information;
- Provide access to all areas included in the service;
- Secure pets and children away from the work area;
- Identify broken, loose, modified, or sensitive components;
- Disclose aftermarket electronics and security systems;
- Disclose leaks, electrical problems, water intrusion, mold, biohazards, pests, or hazardous substances; and
- Provide vehicle keys when required.
Additional labor charges may apply when excessive personal property must be moved before detailing can begin, provided the charge is disclosed and authorized.
Nathan’s Detailing may refuse to handle or remove unsafe, illegal, biological, sharp, or hazardous materials.
10. Personal Property
Nathan’s Detailing is not responsible for personal property left inside the vehicle unless the loss or damage results directly from conduct for which liability cannot legally be excluded.
We may place loose items in a bag, container, cargo area, or another part of the vehicle while completing the service. Customers are responsible for checking these areas after service.
We do not inventory personal belongings.
Items that appear to be trash may be removed during an interior-detailing service. Customers should identify any item that should not be discarded.
11. Vehicle Condition and Customer Disclosures
Before work begins, customers must disclose known issues that could affect the service, including:
- Loose trim, badges, moldings, handles, mirrors, or panels
- Cracked, chipped, repaired, or replaced glass
- Peeling or failing paint or clear coat
- Repainted panels
- Body filler or prior collision repair
- Existing scratches, dents, chips, corrosion, or oxidation
- Failing window tint or paint protection film
- Water leaks
- Electrical problems
- Nonfunctional switches or controls
- Aftermarket accessories
- Sensitive alarm, camera, sensor, or audio systems
- Mechanical problems that could make vehicle movement unsafe
- Mold, bodily fluids, needles, pests, or other biohazards
Nathan’s Detailing may photograph or document the vehicle before, during, and after service to record its condition, confirm work performed, support quality control, or resolve a concern.
12. Pre-Existing Damage and Fragile Components
Vehicle detailing may reveal damage that was concealed by dirt, wax, oxidation, staining, debris, film, tint, or previous products.
Normal cleaning, polishing, extraction, steaming, pressure washing, adhesive removal, film removal, or surface preparation may affect components that are already damaged, deteriorated, improperly installed, poorly repaired, or near the end of their useful life.
Examples include:
- Peeling paint
- Failing clear coat
- Loose trim
- Brittle plastic
- Delaminating leather
- Damaged stitching
- Cracked screens
- Failing headliners
- Deteriorated rubber
- Loose badges
- Aftermarket paint
- Repaired glass
- Previously damaged tint or film
Nathan’s Detailing is not responsible for deterioration caused by a pre-existing defect or an undisclosed condition, except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be limited.
We may stop work when continuing could cause unreasonable damage or create a safety risk.
13. Service Results and Limitations
We aim to provide professional results, but no detailing service can guarantee that every stain, scratch, odor, defect, contaminant, or imperfection will be completely removed.
Results depend on factors including:
- Material type
- Age and condition
- Depth of damage
- Previous cleaning attempts
- Chemical exposure
- Sun exposure
- Dye transfer
- Wear
- Paint thickness
- Prior repair quality
- Time available
- Selected service package
Certain stains, odors, scratches, etching, oxidation, water spots, paint defects, and biological contamination may be permanent or may require additional services.
A detailing service does not constitute a mechanical inspection, body-repair inspection, environmental inspection, mold certification, or guarantee that the vehicle is free of allergens, pathogens, pests, or hazardous substances.
14. Paint Correction
Paint correction removes or reduces certain visible paint defects by polishing the vehicle’s clear coat.
Not every scratch or defect can be safely removed. Deeper correction may reduce clear-coat thickness and may be inappropriate for thin, damaged, previously corrected, or repainted surfaces.
Nathan’s Detailing may recommend a less aggressive correction level when further polishing could compromise the finish.
Paint correction does not repair dents, body damage, failing paint, rust, stone chips, or scratches that extend through the clear coat or paint layers.
15. Ceramic Coatings
Ceramic coatings may improve gloss, chemical resistance, ease of maintenance, and hydrophobic behavior, but they do not make a vehicle maintenance-free or damage-proof.
A ceramic coating does not guarantee protection against:
- Scratches
- Stone chips
- Dents
- Collision damage
- Water-spot etching
- Improper washing
- Harsh chemicals
- Environmental fallout
- Bird-dropping damage
- Tree sap
- Neglect
Customers must follow the provided curing, washing, maintenance, and inspection instructions.
Failure to follow required maintenance may reduce coating performance or affect any applicable written warranty.
Any coating warranty applies only when expressly provided in writing and is subject to its stated conditions, exclusions, maintenance requirements, and claim procedures.
16. Paint Protection Film
Paint protection film may reduce damage from certain road debris, surface abrasion, and environmental exposure, but it cannot prevent all paint damage.
Installation may involve visible edges, seams, relief cuts, alignment tolerances, or minor installation characteristics depending on the vehicle, film pattern, panel shape, and selected coverage.
Pre-existing paint defects, repainting, body repairs, contamination, and surface condition may affect installation or removal.
Nathan’s Detailing does not guarantee that film can be removed without affecting improperly repaired, poorly bonded, failing, or non-factory paint.
Manufacturer warranties, when available, are governed by the manufacturer’s written terms.
17. Window Tint
Window-tint appearance and performance may be affected by glass condition, contamination, existing film, heating elements, antenna lines, dot-matrix patterns, seals, and previous repairs.
Minor moisture, haze, or visual variation may be present during the curing period.
Customers must follow the provided curing and care instructions, including any restrictions on opening windows.
Nathan’s Detailing may refuse an installation that we reasonably believe would be unsafe, technically unsuitable, or unlawful.
The customer is responsible for informing us about any special legal, medical, commercial, or vehicle-use requirements that may affect the selected tint.
18. Vehicle Movement and Test Operation
You authorize Nathan’s Detailing to enter, start, reposition, and reasonably operate the vehicle when necessary to perform, inspect, or complete the approved service.
This authorization may include operating windows, seats, locks, lights, climate controls, convertible tops, doors, trunks, hoods, charging ports, or other vehicle systems.
Customers must disclose any condition that makes operation unsafe or requires special instructions.
We will not intentionally drive the vehicle beyond what is reasonably necessary without additional permission, except in an emergency or where necessary to protect people or property.
19. Photographs and Marketing
Nathan’s Detailing may photograph or record vehicles for documentation, training, quality assurance, portfolio use, website content, and social-media marketing.
We will make reasonable efforts not to display personally identifying information such as visible addresses, documents, or license-plate numbers when photographs are used publicly.
You may request before service that photographs of your vehicle not be used for public marketing.
Condition-documentation photographs may still be retained for legitimate business, safety, insurance, payment, or dispute-resolution purposes.
20. Service Inspection and Concerns
Customers should inspect the vehicle as soon as reasonably possible after service.
Any concern should be reported promptly with:
- The customer’s name;
- Appointment date;
- Vehicle information;
- Description of the concern; and
- Supporting photographs when available.
Nathan’s Detailing must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and, where appropriate, address a service-related concern before the customer arranges corrective work through another provider.
Nothing in this section eliminates a right or remedy that cannot legally be limited.
21. Refusal or Termination of Service
Nathan’s Detailing may refuse, suspend, or stop a service when:
- Conditions are unsafe;
- The vehicle contains hazardous or illegal materials;
- The customer has misrepresented the vehicle’s condition;
- Required authorization is unavailable;
- Payment is refused;
- The requested work may cause unreasonable damage;
- The requested work may violate the law;
- The customer interferes with the work;
- The customer threatens or harasses team members; or
- Continuing the service is not reasonably practical.
The customer remains responsible for authorized work already completed and materials already used, subject to applicable law.
22. Warranties
Except for warranties expressly provided in writing, services and website content are provided to the fullest extent permitted by law without additional express or implied warranties.
We do not guarantee:
- A particular cosmetic result not stated in the approved service description;
- Complete removal of every defect, stain, odor, scratch, contaminant, or imperfection;
- A vehicle’s future condition;
- Protection against future damage;
- Uninterrupted website availability; or
- That every website statement will always be error-free or current.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, rights, or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
23. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nathan’s Detailing will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the website or services.
This may include loss of use, loss of income, missed appointments, replacement transportation, diminished value, or other indirect losses.
Where liability may lawfully be limited, Nathan’s Detailing’s total liability arising from an affected service will not exceed the amount paid for that specific service.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability resulting from fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or another category for which limitation is prohibited by law.
24. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Nathan’s Detailing harmless from third-party claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your unauthorized request for work on another person’s vehicle;
- Your violation of these Terms;
- False or materially incomplete information you provide;
- An unsafe or unauthorized service location selected by you; or
- Your unlawful use of the website.
This section does not require you to indemnify Nathan’s Detailing for Nathan’s Detailing’s own unlawful conduct.
25. Communications
By providing your telephone number or email address, you authorize Nathan’s Detailing to contact you about your inquiry, quote, appointment, service, payment, or customer-support request.
Transactional communications may be sent by telephone, email, or text message.
Promotional email and SMS communications will be governed by the consent provided when you subscribe and by our Privacy Policy.
Consent to promotional text messages is not a condition of purchasing a service. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of promotional text messages by replying STOP.
26. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
27. Intellectual Property
The website and its content—including text, photographs, videos, graphics, logos, service descriptions, layouts, and original materials—are owned by or licensed to Nathan’s Detailing and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may use the website for personal, noncommercial purposes.
You may not copy, reproduce, republish, scrape, distribute, sell, modify, or exploit website content without written permission, except where permitted by law.
28. Prohibited Website Use
You may not:
- Use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or its systems;
- Introduce malware or harmful code;
- Interfere with website security or operation;
- Submit false appointment or contact information;
- Scrape or harvest personal information;
- Impersonate another person;
- Abuse website forms or communication channels; or
- Use website content in a way that infringes another party’s rights.
29. Third-Party Services and Links
The website may contain links to third-party websites, maps, social networks, booking providers, payment processors, videos, or other services.
Nathan’s Detailing does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, privacy practices, security, or terms.
Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider’s terms and policies.
30. Electronic Acceptance
You agree that electronic actions may demonstrate acceptance of these Terms.
Electronic acceptance may include:
- Selecting an acceptance checkbox;
- Submitting a booking form;
- Approving an estimate electronically;
- Responding with approval by email or text message;
- Providing an electronic signature;
- Paying a deposit; or
- Authorizing us to begin work.
You consent to receive transaction records, estimates, approvals, invoices, and service communications electronically.
31. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Before filing a legal claim, the parties should make a reasonable attempt to resolve the matter by contacting one another and discussing the concern in good faith.
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, any legal proceeding arising from these Terms or Nathan’s Detailing’s services must be brought in a state or federal court with proper jurisdiction in or serving Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from using a legally available small-claims process or seeking urgent relief where appropriate.
32. Changes to These Terms
Nathan’s Detailing may update these Terms to reflect changes to our website, services, booking practices, technology, or legal obligations.
Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Changes will apply prospectively unless applicable law permits otherwise. The terms accepted for a particular service will continue to govern that service where required.
33. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
The affected provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, where permitted by law.
34. No Waiver
A failure by Nathan’s Detailing to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive the right to enforce that provision later.
35. Entire Agreement
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the accepted estimate, the work order, the invoice, and any service-specific written warranty or agreement constitute the agreement between the customer and Nathan’s Detailing regarding the applicable service.
When a service-specific written agreement directly conflicts with these general Terms, the service-specific agreement controls for that service.
