BMW M4 Competition PPF and Ceramic Coating

If you can’t tell by the video, we (quite literally) could not have been any more excited to see this 2022 BMW M4 Competition come into the shop. The M4 line of coupes saw some exciting things in 2022, which we will unpack in just a bit. Looking to protect this beast of a car, the owner of this M4 Competition decided to bring it into Nathan’s Detailing to get wrapped with XPEL Ultimate Plus Paint Protection Film and coated with XPEL Fusion Plus Ceramic Coating.

2022 BMW M4 Competition

This year, the BMW M4 is finally available in all-wheel-drive when you spring for the Competition xDrive trim, as did the owner of this vehicle. The Competition xDrive trim is available as either a coupe or a convertible. Starting at $79,995, this 2022 BMW M4 Coupe Competition xDrive possess all-wheel-drive, a twin turbo engine, and 503 horsepower. While the base trim is available as a RWD vehicle with a manual transmission (to appease the enthusiasts), this specific model and trim has an automatic transmission. The BMW M4 Competition xDrive Coupe sees 16 MPG in the city and 22 on the highway.

The steering wheel is fixed with two buttons to engage a customizable M drive mode. The logo, as seen in the video, is illuminated and integrated into the back of the seats for a real sharp, slick look. While the car, as a sporty coupe, obviously doesn’t have as much room in the cabin, it’s still a surprisingly roomy ride with some nice legroom.
